I loved this show!
It, along with the Twilight Zone, were some of my favorite TV series, but, alas, try to find a rerun for Night Gallery on satellite TV! Luck is with the land lines, however, as Me-TV is coming to other, terrestrial providers.
Night Gallery is also available on Hulu.com, so I gave the site a try and watched the episode, “They’re Tearing Down Tim Riley’s Bar.” What a great episode!

What about Tales from the Crypt…Twilight Zone best though. Also enjoyed Dark Shadows though some scenes freaked me out.

Oh, good point! Almost forgot about those—yeah, I did watch a lot of Tales from the Crypt! I, however, was never into Dark Shadows. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t good, it just never really “hit” the mark for me. I’ve also just recently also been reminded about the REAL show, One Step Beyond (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoa_Presents:_One_Step_Beyond), and I’ll post on that in a bit. My mom got me the first season CDs last year, and I’ve watched a handful, and forgot how much I also loved that series (though only caught it in hit-or-miss reruns, so didn’t get to see them all)! But I love the the music, John Newland’s commentary—and that all of these stories are supposed to have well-documented and REAL. The stuff is creepy!
