I saw this in the tagline for another writer (thanks, Betsy!), loved it, and wanted to share this cool quote, because, well, many ask how and why I can write some of the stuff I write when I’m not such a bad guy. A quote from John Updike:
“I’m willing to show good taste, if I can, in somebody else’s living room, but our reading life is too short for a writer to be in any way polite.”
